Then: Rock of Cronus

This rock near the Pueblo inherited the "Rock of Cronus" name at an early point in the 20th century, as the postcard here dates to about 1910-1915, when cards were printed in Germany. As leader of the Titans of Greek mythology, Cronus was a key figure when the Park was known as "Garden of the Titans." The name "Rock of Cronus" was long used in Red Rocks Park and was once applied to the Park's tallest outcrop, now known as Creation Rock.
