In 2003, Denver opened its new Visitor Center at the top of the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, fulfilling the original vision of Burnham Hoyt. Tucked between Ship Rock and Creation Rock, most of the building's structure is underground, topped by a large plaza where visitors enjoy views overlooking the Amphitheatre and its surroundings.
